Beginner Crochet Birdie's Cowl

Looking for an introduction to crochet? This class is perfect for those who have never touched a crochet hook! But also for students looking for a refresher course. 

In this class students will learn crochet fundamentals: how to hold your yarn and hook, how to chain, single crochet, double crochet, weaving in ends, and adding a new color. 

A pattern guide for Birdie's Cowl will be included in the cost of this class. 

Skill level: Beginner! No experience needed. 

Class prep: Purchase class kit at Yarnbyrds. Make sure yarn is wound prior to class. 

Supplies:

Class kits will be available for purchase at Yarnbyrds and include two skeins of Quince & Co. Osprey, one US I / 5mm crochet hook, and one darning needle set. 

Students are also encouraged to bring a measuring tape and scissors.
