Hooked on Grannies: Block of the Month Club!

Description: Welcome to the first installment of our crochet granny square of the month club! Each month, Rachael will guide you through a new crochet granny square pattern from the book, A Modern Guide to Crochet Granny Squares, by Celine Semann & Leonie Morgan. 

This club will start at an advanced beginner level and gradually work up to advanced granny squares over the next 12 months.

This year long club will be offered as quarterly sign-ups. This first session, the first 3 months (October, November, and December), includes Bright Shimmer (a classic granny square), Double Crochet Square (a solid granny square), and the Colorblock Double Crochet Square (we'll learn simple intarsia!). 

Please note that this is an advanced beginner class, so students should already be comfortable with single and double crochet, and working comfortably on their own. 

Dates: Thursday, 10/8, 11/12, & 12/10, 6-8pm

Materials:

- Book: A Modern Guide to Crochet Granny Squares, by Celine Semann & Leonie Morgan, available for purchase at Yarnbyrds

- Malabrigo Rios or Seis Cabo in 2 or more colors

- US G / 4mm hook

- Scissors, darning needle
